Are you cooking yourself a meal and wondering if it’s safe to sneak your dog some bell peppers? Maybe your dog is curiously sniffing around the crunchy raw vegetables and you want to let him/her have a taste
You can safely give your dogs bell peppers. Just remember moderation is the key. Peppers are a great source of Vitamin C, which just like for humans is great for their immune system. Since a dogs teeth are not designed for chewing vegetables they may have difficulty with bell peppers. You may need to grind it up or puree the peppers first.
Another important thing to take into consideration is that too much pepper will upset a dog’s stomach. Only feed a dog a small amount of raw bell pepper.
